I taught students with cognitive impairments for thirty years. After receiving my doctorate in Administrative and Organizational Studies at Wayne State University, I was appointed as a Special Education Coordinator with the Dearborn School District. I retired in 2008. David and I spent our winters in Florida, returning in Michigan for the late spring, summer and fall. We sold our Michigan home in 2012 and moved permanently to Florida. Our daughter Jean is the mother of two girls--Emily, 12 and Lily, 10. She is an elementary school principal. Katherine is an attorney for the U. S. Army and is working at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. David and I had some health issues this year which were positively resolved. I'm sorry to have missed the reunion, but Gail Malkiewicz filled me in.
